Acceptance into the Cantabile Youth Chorale is based on interest, commitment, enthusiasm and musical ability. Children entering grades 3-12, who love to sing, can match pitch and have positive, cooperative attitudes are invited to audition. Prospective choristers must have a recommendation from a school or private music teacher.

Audition Requirements:

• Students must be between the ages of 7 – 17.
  

• Singers will be asked to sing a simple song ("Happy Birthday").
  

• Singers will be asked to clap a rhythmic passage, and echo sing.
  

• Singers will vocalize with a piano to find their range.
